Ok, got the car back... The dash is in and no rattles as of yet... I drove it about 40 miles and all good.

I dropped my car off yesterday to have the dash...

I dropped my car off yesterday to have the dash replaced.... should be getting it back today, I will let you know how this turns out soon as I get it back.

I can't imagine GM not being aware of this already... unless there hasn't been enough inquiry yet?.. I guess as people start to near that magical 36k number it'll show up!! I hope to see a TSB on it....

I wasn't saying that the weight or pressure wouldn't do it, but just based on the photos on here and what people are saying, I would venture to say that its a product problem... considering the crack...

It looks like its splitting where the airbag seam may be. It has nothing to do with weight of pressure on the dash.... what im afraid of is... in 2 more years, wth is gonna look like??... i dont...
