I have to say the looks of the engine compartment on the 5.0 puts the Camaro's to shame. The Mustang's 5.0 really looks sharp.

Interesting that the braking is better with the larger/wider wheels until you get to the 15 inch which is better then the 16 inch.

Not to mention they sold more 2010 Mustangs in 2009 then 2010 Camaros in 2009, granted the Camaro wasnt released until March, but still.

I agree with you there, some people are a bit too obsessed with the Mustang. I for one could care less about the Mustang. I for one wouldnt of bought the 2011 Mustang over the 2010 Camaro regardless.

That is the other issue, they obviously arent going to hit the exact same times every run and most likely are using different drivers. They originally had the Camaro at 13.0, then 12.9 vs the GT500...

Who knows if the production version is going to have the same HP as the model Ford gave to MotorTrend or Edmunds.

Either way I dont care its still a drivers race and the Camaro looks 10x better....

That would seem odd to me since they only pulled a 12.8 in the Mustang GT500 when Motor Trend ran it vs the Camaro SS, which ran a 12.9 in that race.

Exactly, people are going to be looking at the HP numbers when comparing the 2 cars trying to decide which to purchase. Underrating the HP would be stupid and most likely cost them some sales.
