You guys are funny. My 68 Camaro had galvanized rockers from the factory, was seam sealed and primed. Anyone ever seen a rusty first gen?

There are hundreds of un-coated or nicked-up items from the factory. They will start to corrode. Will they break? Nope. Will they start to look crappy? Sure.

My 2013 logged about 700 miles before I parked for the first winter. I parked it for the second winter with 2100 on the clock. When I got it out this spring most of the hard plastic looked similar....

I'd suggest looking up Ofer of gen5diy.com then. See if he ever made any real headway in the brightness direction. You eventually run into heat sink problems if you go too crazy. Best of luck!
