I had 3.45's in mine and ran 11.44 @ 118.75 with full bolt-ons and a Yank SS3200. Now with ported heads and custom VVT cam and Yank SS3600 it ran 10.72 @ 128. :)

The preload on a factory L99 and LS3 is 2 1/2 turns or about .125 preload. And the only Morel lifter that requires only .030 preload is there limited travel lifters.

That's the same plug that is used in the ZL1 LSA engines. It's a colder heat range and will work fine in that combo. I run that same plug in my engine. :)

Degreeing the cam is always a good idea but Cam Motion cams are always within less than 1 degree of what the cam card says and even with an adjustable timing chain set the least amount you can move...

Here are the lifters ans cam from a broken tie bar. The roller wheel still rolls fine the button broke off that holds the tie bar to the lifter.

With a stock converter you can't stall it that high it will launch the best at no more than about 1200rpm's. Even with my Yank 3600 stall I launch at about 1400-1600rpm's and let the converter flash...

Go with a VVT cam you will get a lot more power under the curve with just as much top end power. :nod: Just look at the Fast List all the 10 sec cam cars are VVT including me and 62nalide! :thumb:
