the reason i was hammering was cauz i had a smaller pipe that got larger and i put a wood board ontop when i hammered to enlarge the opening of the kit evenly.

Its not a bad thing to get some...

yes i absolutly LOVE this exhaust and would suggest them to anyone who is on the fence about getting it. Its just the install was a bit of a bummer.
