5thGen was correct. They went away with the bankruptcy stuff, then came back, albeit a little different. My '13 has the new style.

For the timeline, my '10 was a Sept. 09 build, can't recall day....

Mine had nice paint from GM, but the clear was not really shiny. The early 5th gens had no clear on the strut towers so maybe they were trying not to make them outshine everything else?

It was an option to order it for $325, either with the car, or after. If ordered with, it would ship loose in trunk, I think. Car would have come with the silver one installed.
