Regarding Turtle Wax Ice I tried it once a couple years ago and the black stripes looked HORRIBLE. Took a lot of work to get them back. Ice went in the trash can. Use the good stuff, it's worth it.

Mine had this issue except it was rear passenger floor area. Dealer fixed the leak by rewelding some bad cowl welds. Unfortunately, left me with a rattle now top passenger side/top of windshield...

Wouldn't it sound a lot more bada** with a camshaft grind so you hear a little thumpin'
