Sounds like your dealer has a problem. The recall just knocks the switchblade key out of your remote fob and they give you a separate key. You get to keep your remote fob!!!!!!!

It depends on where the fob is in the run position. On my girl friends Equinox, the fob is straight up in the run position. On our Camaro's, the fob is toward the front of the car in the run...

Your DWS tires will work fine on a ZL1 for winter use. The SS tires are 28.7" tall. The front ZL1 tires are 27.9 and the rear 28.4. Factory SS wheels will work fine for winter wheels.
