I dropped the pan about a half in or so to get the oil pump out. Going back in I pryed it down about 5/8 to get the intake tube on. Also that gave me more clearance to work the far oil pump bolt....

The stock cats muffle it a lot . I went from muffler delete to headers and hfc's and Flowmaster exhaust. With headers and hfc's was louder but sounded way better. Cammed now it is freaking awesome.

The 3000 rpm shriek is probably due to having an Flowmaster AT cat back on, then taking off the FAT mufflers. No resonators. It just howled and shrieked at 3000 rpm. was bad.

I had muffler deletes with factory cats. Did not like it. It shrieked about 3000 rpm..awful. drove it like that for a year. Then headers hfc, cam, and put FAT exhaust back on love it now.
