OP, the faster you burn through the low octane fuel, the faster you will feel the difference. There is no "computer reset" on the V6 models.

I wouldn't go near this for any amount of cash. Buying a newer car as a shell comes with a ton of risk. It would be far easier to just pay 22k for a complete 2010 SS.
