The V6 Trans isn't the greatest of trannys. It has issues with 2nd. I have personally had a failed clutch due to a seized self adjuster mechanism (Covered under warranty after a 6 week battle)

I think a clutch job only pays 4 hours or so... experienced tranny guy should be able to rebuild in a couple hours... should easily be a 1 day job if they have all parts available and no issues

It is a silencer of sorts. To make the car quieter. Which is opposite of what most want. All it does is cancel out noise and take airflow and some power away.

torx screw must be new to the 2013... my 2012 did not have that.. and the centering springs are a pain in the ass I agree. There was a little footnote saying V6 Install may vary.. lol.. ill say those...
