If you change a heater core in a 5th gen in 3 hours, you're probably removing the dash with a sawzall...and putting the pieces back...

The coil harness on each side grounds to the back of the head...it was probably removed to take the valve cover off. Make sure the ground isn't loose.

The way the solenoid is setup, it's only able to lock out second...it just winds up pushing you into 4th even though all 5 other forward gears are still available.

Hitting clear does not cancel...

The coil packs ground on the back of the heads. Maybe he bumped one of those grounds and you're firing dead on 4 cylinders?

When I no lift shift, my tune is setup to hold the engine with spark only...so I shoot fire during a shift if I don't get it done fast enough.

The LS3 likes a little more fuel than the LS1's before it. I've found they make the best power around...
