181hp is no slouch especially considering the enormous torque output and it's peak at such a low RPM. That's V-8 torque output practically just off idle (369lbft @ 2000rpm).

I agree with the others, as I would just have a one piece shaft made to fit your stock flange. May cost you more up front but the one piece will be worth it in the long run.
