So calamon it looks like you didn't need to remove the rear facia, just the inner trunk cover over the left tail light. Plan on doing this in the next week or two.

definely wax. Will help keep the brake dust from eating into the rims. Helps in cleaning them also. Best to pull them off and wax front and back. I do it every time I rotate my tires.
