Forgot to mention what I use. I use Blackfire Wet Diamond Sealant and Blackfire Midnight Sun Wax. For the exterior trim I use Ultima Trim Guard Plus.

It's meant for a fine jeweling after a more aggressive compound such as FG400. Although if your truck is new and doesn't have swirls, it may create a difference.

I would be weary about using a pressure washer on the engine bay, it is definitely not necessary to get it clean. It usually is not recommended with all the electrical.

Biggest thing that hasn't been mentioned yet is that you never detail an engine bay that is hot. Allow it to cool, best would be to just do so after it sat over night.
