I've had cquartz on my wife's ride for about 7 months now. So far it's holding up better than a sealant, it still beads and sheets water like day 1, and it does seem to have a anti dirt effect...

Yes dawn will easily strip a carnauba wax. It's not quite as good at stripping sealants IMO, if I need to strip a sealant I generally wash with dawn then wipe with IPA:Distilled water, 1:1.
