If there is any adhesive left on it, then use some 3M adhesive remover or Goo Gone to remove. Then wipe down with IPA (isopropyl alcohol) and polish out...

I'd say yes as long as you use a clean side of towel for each pass. To help, do a spritz down with your rinseless solution first so you can get some to run off, or at least loosen.

+1. You're less likely do do damage with a DA given the evenness of the pressure you apply. By hand leads to your fingertips applying more pressure in certain spots.

I could never do a whole car with 4" pads. That would take way too long for me personally, but there isn't anything wrong with it.

I use 5'' mostly but the 4'' for spot correction and tight spots.
