It essentially accomplishes the same thing....

It essentially accomplishes the same thing. However, lighter bars work the suspension more. Then again the heavier bars will keep the car flatter in the corners.

Brembo pads? It's fairly normal for them to make noise sometimes, especially after hard use. Check your wear indicators to be sure you don't need new ones.

Laziness, or not realizing that having your foot on the pedal slightly starts the clutch disengagement process. It usually leads to constant slipping of the clutch disc and wears it out much faster.
