Just stop using the belt loops on the seats. I've never put the belt through the seat loops on my car. I was always worried about damaging the seat....just like your situation.

For reference, my 2011 SS was built in November 2010 and I have the old strut towers (no pre-drilled holes). The late 2011-present Camaros have pre-drilled holes and the strut towers look different...

I noticed the wheels on that commercial too. It looks like some kind of Lamborghini kit car. The dimensions are off everywhere. Plus, there are body gaps that a real Lamborghini wouldn't have.
