You really don't need to tape off those areas you mentioned as the plasti dip rubs right off and if applied correctly it will remove cleanly on those areas without leaving any material.

You can put your hao's on during the day by putting the parking lights on and with the DRL Harness you can have the DRL's on with the Halo's during the day and night. It's cheaper to do it that way...
