I wasn't saying to go directly from the pre-am...

I wasn't saying to go directly from the pre-am signal to the speakers - I was asking if I could tap the 8 wires coming from the head unit into the factory amp and run those to the new 4 channel amp...

We took the infinity Kappa's apart and wired the high and low wires directly to the speaker - the low end sounds like sh*t! and the highs aren't even that great.
