Rule of thumb is basically 10psi per 1000rpm. So 20psi at 2k, 30psi at 3k, etc. If you aren't below that no reason to worry.

Adding more power isn't the best way to go about fixing this. 113mph from a 530rwhp is way off. Figure out why and address that.

My wife's 380rwhp mustang traps 114-115mph at 2500ft above sea...

Either way, should have picked up 100rwhp over stock. Tune/etc will help, but that isn't the problem.

I also say traction. 500rwhp and pzeros isn't going anywhere fast.

You could bolt on a set of twins and make 750-800rwhp with no other mods without even popping a valve cover off. Then if you want more, have room to grow still.

Traction, track conditions, and DA can have a HUGE effect on trap speed. So as long as that is taken into account, sure go for it.

Seen bone stock l99 auto TT cars trap 136mph in 5k DA.

That is less than an hour of work. Pulling intake is nothing. 2 vacuum hoses, fuel disconnect, TB coupler, and some bolts. Then pop off the valley plate. Super easy.

That is correct for 6 series, 3690 for a 7 series if you are over 650rwhp I would run 7s.

Just booked a week in Banff in August. I've heard it is nice and that Canadians are pretty good people. :)

Should be able to pull the intake/valley plate and look at the cam and most of the lifters. That is how i found a bad lifter before.

The 10psi comment though is what is scary. Boost doesn't matter. 10psi can be very very unsafe or just fine. 530rwhp is fine with a maggie, even up to 650rwhp is fine and safe if you have...

Any reduction in restriction lowers boost.

Why 10psi? Most gauges in cars aren't even that accurate. Don't worry about PSI. Worry about the power level and having enough fuel to support it. You...

Also depends on cam choice. Dynamic compression plays a huge roll.

I've seen plenty of LS cars run 11.5-12.0. They just may take a bit less timing. I think 11.5-11.8 is a good range for NA...

If it has been running for 20k miles then you are fine. If PTV isn't good, you will find out really quick when you start the motor or rev it up the first time.

Lifters are $130, trays wear out, so if heads are off why not. At 3k miles I wouldn't touch them, but at 35k I would.

Only thing I would add to the above list is...

Yah, lot of bad things on that quote.

A set of lifters is $140 for example. Not $508. That is crazy.
Head gaskets are $32 a pop.
A gallon of coolant is not $35.
Mobil 1 isn't $10 a quart.
