HUD

The HUD should be standard in every car. So much better than having to look down at the dash, you never have to take your eyes off the road to see how fast your going. I do wish it was in full...

wire routing

I'm not really sure if it matters which way your route the wires. It just seamed to be neater by routing it under the tube.

Installation time.

From unboxing to finish was about 30 to 45 minutes. I really didn't time it and I had no clue what I was doing from the start. I did however download the instructions from the internet so I could...

I say wait and see what's going to come out with the 6th gen. Once they announce that make up your mind. Should give you some time to save up money for the V8 as well :) This is what I plan to do....

CAI Installed

Ok, I installed my CAI brand cold air intake today, but I have a couple of questions. Does it look like I routed the MAF sensor correctly? How long does it take for the computer to learn the new...

Oh, I think it will take me more than 5 minutes :)
I have a spare back there, and I'll have to stare at it for at least 10 minutes before I actually touch it :sm0:

Battery disconnect.

I'm curious why do you remove the negative battery cable for this? Does that make it reset the computer so it re-learns after install? or is there some danger in removing the MAF sensor?

Going...

More power

Ok, I'm looking into getting a cold air intake for my 2011 2LT RS. I would like a little more power out of it. I'm not going to be doing any dyno runs or taking it to the track, I would just like a...

RCT vs CRT

So, I'm guessing CRT won't have as much of a color change from shade to sun. I really like the way my RJT changes from burgundy in the shade to bright red in the sun. I'm glad I got mine before the...

Parking

Why does anyone care that he took up two spots in a mostly empty parking lot? If he didn't some idiot in a big white SUV would pull up right next to him and put a nice big white dent in his door. ...

You may hate push button start, but shouldn't it be an option for those of us that want it? I didn't say make it standard.

So, I like most of the changes, although I think I like my dash better than the leather chunk in the dash.

It would be really nice if they added push-button start to it though (as an option for...

What about water?

How does this thing prevent the intake from sucking in water during a thunderstorm? I'm just curious how water will affect this particular intake.

Happy New Year!

My little V6 RS now has a little over 3000 miles on it.
It does seem faster than when it was new, and it seems even faster on cold days for some reason. Well, cold for Texas anyhow.
