G8 stock diff with 2.92 gears

I pulled my stock g8 diff with 2.92s to install a camaro diff with 3.45s. The camaro diff is a direct bolt up for us g8 owner so im guessing it would be the same for the camaro guys. Not sure how...

Wouldnt the g8 stock rear end work it has 2.92s in it and were all swapping to the camaro rears with 3.27s or 3.45s. Im getting ready to swap mine over to a 3.45 and my rear diff will be just sitting...
