Do a little snooping around on your rig. Check vacuum between the throttle body and blower. If there's much vacuum there, you can benefit from a bigger throttle body. But, make sure the vacuum isn't...

You should be seeing more than 9 to 11psi with the way you're set up. Might want to fix your belt slip before adding additional mods. Boost shouldn't vary 2 psi either....unless you're comparing...

Get a half and a one inch shorter belt from your local parts house. You should be able to narrow it down like that. Save your receipt and take them back when done trial fitting. If it goes on easily,...

You're spinning to blower faster, so there is more load on the serp. belt. That pulley setup is the equivalent of running a 3.25" blower pulley with 1:1 rears. Shouldn't slip if your tensioner is...

You're going to see some seriously high boost levels with the stock cam and stock exhaust. You need to rethink that 2.5" pulley.

You can run that rig all day if the tune is good and you have plenty of fuel. You should be right at 10psi. Run it and enjoy!

Being from California, you'd be nuts to put a blower on that's not CARB compliant if one's available. I believe the HB is. Not sure about KB and Whipple. The LSA might pass if the inspector didn't...

In the intercooler system, I'd use as little antifreeze as possible. Will the car ever be used in freezing temps? If not, I wouldn't use any a/f. I've heard folks swear that "Water Wetter" does...

Belt slip. Once you start making boost, the belt stretches. If the belt isn't the shortest one you can wrestle on there, the tensioner will run out of travel and lose the ability to keep the belt...

If you're M6 tranny, you could get there with just a little more boost. If you're A6, that's a pretty tall order. Not saying it can't be done, but you'll probably need more octane (meth or e85)....

Me thinks you're going to be well over 10psi and out of injector...unless you're operating way up in those high altitude Florida mountains...or, unless you're counting on a whole lot of belt slip.

The way you're configured, isn't the boost going to be well over 10psi with the 2.5" pulley? Are you running pump gas without meth?

I'm trying to get a handle on pulley sizes. Right or wrong, I'm thinking the equation for comparing pulley size for a 2.3L vs 2.9L blower is fairly simple. A 3.75" pulley on a 2.9L blower should move...

Nice work! 812rwhp is a whole lotta bang for the amount of boost you're running. I would have thought the 3.75" pulley would be the one to use if wanting 12psi. Figured I'd need 12ish psi to see low...

With an 81mm pulley on my Heartbeat, I see 9.5 to 10psi. My cam, at 224/234 116+2, is smaller than BTR's stage 3. I'd guess your boost would be slightly less than mine with the same size blower...

IIRC the o/d cogs are 36 tooth driving a 30 tooth. So 3.8X30/36=3.17. 3.8" with o/d cogs would be the equivalent of a 3.17" front pulley with 1:1 rear pulleys.

I thought the HB's came with a 96mm pulley? They're available in 3mm increments. Each 3mm decrease in pulley size = roughly an extra lb of boost in an LS3. An extra lb of boost gets you 15-20 more...
