Need help installing throttle arm

Has anyone installed throttle arm on cowl induction?The area where it goes is real tight for space to work.doesnt look like there is enough to grab at the end of gas pedal rod to attach.

Throttle arm should be on the firewall on the drivers side?I will take another look today ,Looks I might be missing that part.I connected tan wire to hood.

Cowl induction problem

I found solenoid switch with the attach wire laying behind back of motor.where does it go and which wire goes too the hood with small round hole.If anybody has picture showing this would help a lot.

Once get carbs adjusted right,i will decide what too do.Rather keep them for better off the line starts.Right now bogging down a little from start.It must really bog down with the 600s.

I look up the serial # on my holly carbs and they are 390cfm.how much will this hurt the value not having the 600 ones.

Exhaust manifold are Sanderson.I look them up they are between header and stock exhaust manifolds.pretty sure they came with car.

I found orange wire hanging behind the ash tray that is hot.There is wire going too the cig lighter that works,is this light source for the ash tray or glove box?

Think i solved the problem,I bought new oil cap it fits alot tighter.Drove car around seem to be working.Need to take longer ride to be sure.Thanks for your advice.
