This is for OEM halos. It makes them the DRL instead of the lower "fog" lamps. At night everything comes on when in auto mode. You can override anytime w/ the headlight switch.

My '11 DRLs stay on unless I turn the switch off...

My '11 DRLs stay on unless I turn the switch off (left) every time. I got this harness to just run the halos instead of the DRLs.

I hate to speak for a '12 Canadian model tho. Maybe someone else...
