I tried that and didn't accomplish anything....

I tried that and didn't accomplish anything. Could it be the plastic retainers holding on the fascia are bad allowing the fascia to be higher than it should be?
Just guessing.

On a staggered OEM set-up the front is 35mm offset. The rear is 40mm off-set.
20x8 front, 20x9 rear rims.

It's just a matter of personal taste to paint it...

It's just a matter of personal taste to paint it or not. In my opinion it matches the lower grill better when unpainted.
I think we all agree it's much better than stock.

Much easier to remove facia bolts without fender well in the way. For me anyway. I think it is great unpainted.

So I went and ordered the hex vents in March...

So I went and ordered the hex vents in March (18th).
I had them painted to Imperial Blue Metallic (same as my car)
Installed them today.
I think they look great and the paint match is excellent....

Is there a significant advantage in using a paste wax vs a liquid wax?
I'll be doing a paint correction for mild swirls and defects next week followed by a total wax.
