If you replace the top mechanism using the parts of the current MY cars you shouldn't have any problems. I did this several months ago. No rub marks since.

Can I use this to retrofit a '13 NPP exhaust to my '12 2 LT convertible. NPP was not an option for the '12 so there is no on board software or connections for it.

Here's the deal. The old mechanism can easily get out of alignment. When it does it bends the bows. Once that happens the only real solution is to replace the bows and the mechanism.

Or you could go "hard core" and get a magnetic drain bolt and replace it every time. Really I don't know anyone like that.

I use a long torque wrench to take the wheels off. That wrench is too long for the calipers so I bought it's little brother. The caliper bolts come off easily that way. Plus you need a torque wrench...

Lateral runout is another cause of vibration while braking.

Are your rotors etched by any of the pad edges? If so that's the caliper to investigate.

The ECM and knock sensors have to deal with cheap bad gas all the way through good 93 octane gas. Add to that Octane boosters.
