They were replacing the window regulator/motors....

Sunroofs are not designed to have a "tight seal". That's why there's a drain system for them. But there shouldn't be air noise unless its maybe out of alignment.

Not always, most of the time ac-delco is a gm approved replacement part (cheaper). Most OEM (GM) cabin filters will be a carbon style which is why there more expensive.

Because it all depends on the Service Manager. Some will goodwill the entire repair others will goodwill the repair but make the customer pay a part of it (deductible).

GM's warranty for that repair is over at 3/36. When GM offers to cover it after the 3/36 and requests a "deductible" it just like an extended service contract with a deductible, its just a goodwill...

GM doesn't offer a "paint protector". The dealer will sell an aftermarket warranty to cover some paint issues. GM only covers paint if its a factory defect.
