GM's warranty for that repair is over at 3/36. When GM offers to cover it after the 3/36 and requests a "deductible" it just like an extended service contract with a deductible, its just a goodwill...

That is totally up to the dealer you bring it to. They are more willing to help you if you bought it from them. Some dealers do goodwill all day and others dont.:chevy:
