How do I know that the factory has my order?

All I have is a purchase invoice from my dealership. Is there a tracking number or some kind of specific notation that assures me that the factory has my order?

How do I track my order?

How do I know that my local dealership actually placed / sent my order to the factory? I have a hand writen order form, but no tracking number.
