Also removed my BA amp totally and all still seems to be working properly. I was going nuts trying to find info on resistor and tried it without. And whatta you know, you dont even need it.

So your amp is 1 ohm stable you can wire it...

So your amp is 1 ohm stable you can wire it either way.
specs for that amp are

475 watts @ 4 ohms
or
1000 watts @ 1 ohm

They say you have to double output to hear an audible difference...
