The one pie e cts-v rotor and zl1 twompiece rotor are interchangable. The thw two piece costs more and is actually a little heaver butis said to cool better.

This is good advice, the CTS-V kit is $1,050 with CTS one piece rotors so after you sell your stock front brakes for $450 it will cost about $600 which is less than your Grantelli+EBC pad combo...

North worth almost 2.5 times more than CTS-V kit, the first thing I'd do is replace the rotors with non drilled. For that price you can get CTS-V calipers, Racing Brake two piece rotors and Cobalt...

My guess is the pads are generating more heat because they are providing more stopping power than the stock pads which might be why Cornerspeed isn't having the same problem, just my take on it.

Check out the Z28 thread called tow hooks revisited. IMO the best solution and will be available this week. The kit includes front and rear receiver plus one tow hook.
