I got only 28k from the Pirelli's and don't do burnnouts. Replaced with General GMAX AS-03's. No loss of traction and lasting longer than the original Pirelli's.

I have it too. Sounds like a light chirp/rattle coming from speedo or HUD area. Mostly when cold.

Dealer's service dept was useless and now I'm beyond the 3yr bumper-to-bumper warranty.

Yes, the '12 SS (manual) has launch control. I've used mine a few times but you I get plenty of smoke from the tires and clutch.

I have a brake shop flush my clutch & brake lines every 2 yes for $40. I'm a DIY guy but the LS3 clutch isnt easy to reach. BTW, at 30k miles, they said my pads were only 25% gone.

Just had my evap canister replaced with 2 months left on the 3yr warranty. It was a big job for them.. dropped the exhaust, diff, driveshaft, etc.

Hopefully your problem is under the hood.

I've had a rattle coming from the RF corner of the car since new, when I hit small bumps or drive on rough pavement. Can only be heard with windows down.

Not much city driving, so my overall average is around 24mpg.

2SS (LS3) = 23.6mpg (avg)
2LT (LLT) = 25.5mpg (avg)

I think the payback for buying a V6 will be very long.
