It's a dry filter, not washable, I've been in the rain with no issues, mine's a daily driver.

I expect it will have no different issues than any other open top CAI.

I've driven a 5th gen now through 6 winters, always year 'round and with a separate winter tire/wheel (swap done by myself). Never had this problem so I'd get it in for an alignment/balancing.

Yes, the icons will light up on your dash indicating that they're off.

Check your owner's manual, it will show you how to turn them off if you're unsure.
