Go back to your dealer and ask if you can have several of the shipping bumpers from the doors. Some double sided tape will stick them on the pressure points and provide you with some relief.

Correct, the number sequence resets for each new model year. ZR & ZL have a sequence exclusive to that model. Corvettes mix up coupe, vette and Grand Sport models as Camaro mixes LS, LT, SS, etc
