Air is bad, but that cars issue wasn't power or air. Stock tires and stick shift, and 550rwhp doesn't go far. Just goes to show that drag racing is a lot more than just picking a power adder. I'm...

Yes LSA heads will work on an LS3. They are both square port medium bore heads. Should have no issues swapping them on. Depending on chamber work/etc though, they may not be a good upgrade for a NA...

Stock LS7s are 11:1, and a lot of people mill them up to 12:1. 11.5-11.8 is a pretty sweet spot on pump gas these days.

As far as needing octane boost, only if you couldn't pull enough timing,...

First of all, your in Utah at high elevation, so turbos are almost a no brainier since they will make up for elevation compared to the blower.

Several AGP cars with very basic setups running high...

For a glory pull on a dyno, probably not. For a beat on raced car, yes IMO.

Figure at least $35k into parts for a nice 1000rwhp reliable setup is the going rate these days.

But they have specials and lower cost kits. That base $6700 kit comes with plugs, catchcan, etc. They have kits for less than that to delete a lot of that stuff.

Not that I don't have faith, but Kevin has it jigged up and knows exactly what to do since he has done so many.

If it has overlap then you will "leak" boost. This may not be a bad thing. A little overlap can help evacuate cylinders getting all the exhaust out. Too much and you are giving up a lot of power and...

Double? Basic twin setup is ~$6000, this is $4700. I would just pony up the $1300 extra to get rid of limitation, and have ability to make 1000+ with ease later.

A single 55/57 billet BW ET turbo has done over 650awhp/rwhp on evo/supra/etc so the concept that 2 of them can't make over a 1000 is silly. AGP has single billet 61s making 800rwhp.

Once the belt is setup and aligned properly, should last 40k+ miles. No issue with pulleys like that. You can't eyeball alignment. Get a laser system on it and measure.

Actually, pretty damn easy to pop one with a bad tune. They are solid with a good tune, but a bad tune can pop even a billet crazy 3khp+ rated motor at 400hp NA if it is tuned bad.

PSI makes a good beehive, but I would just look at BTR packages. He makes nice springs.

Plenty of good spring compressors. Should be able to borrow one from a local or shop.

That being said, it is more for aero, not for heat removal. That is just one good side effect. A vented hood reduces front end lift which is why the car has a vented hood.

Labor is such a big part, and doing a cam twice is no fun. Save up and just get a decent sized cam from the get go. No reason to spend all the time/money for something barely bigger than a stock cam.
