Just get the code, it will tell you want caused it. The codes that cause that are pretty specific. I had the same thing happen with a bad gas pedal when one of the sensors had a intermittent flat...

I average 16 normal daily driving, I can do 19 if I am careful and can do 22 freeway with a 75 mph cruise speed...not that any of that matters...its a 580hp supercar, wasn't expecting good gas...

Don't do 295 on the front unless you don't mind it hitting. I've put 10k on the Michelin SS 295/315 and the fronts hit if you hit a bump or dip at speed. I plan on doing a review at some point.

It is completely normal for a new engine to burn oil while the rings set. I'm now on my second engine and BOTH engines burnt around 3/4 a quart in the first 1500 miles. I'm at 5000+ on my new engine...
