My recommendation is upgrade to the 6L90. Bone stock 6L90's with a good tune are holding 1000+whp in numerous cars. It comes out much cheaper than a PATC built 6L80 and you keep all your factory...

I would do a stock sleeved 417 for your goals. Seen lots of stock sleeved LS3 blocks making 1000whp. Turbo's would help a lot, 15%...

Will only fit newer motors with rectangular intake ports on the heads. So would bolt to like a newer truck motor but then the belt set-up will likely not work. Really need to sell it to a Camaro5 guy.

Aftermarket exhaust and a meth inj kit would make 100+whp gain.
Nothing wrong with the stock LS3 cam, you can easily max the motor out on stock cam.
