I went with the Sears Diehard Advanced Gold AGM Battery 800cca Gr94R. Direct fit no modification required. It is about 2lbs heaver than the stock OEM battery.

For the leaking cap I went to Advance auto parts and found a HELP! Pt# 42072 Master Cylinder Gasket for the cap. It is thicker than the OEM Gasket on the cap. Perfect fit and seal.
