I, respectfully, disagree. I think the hood is a good addition to the ZL1. If you've ever owned a supercharged vehicle you know that engine bay heat is your enemy.

What IATs are you seeing? Mine usually run around 25 degrees higher than ambient temperatures when cruising and can go as high as 35 degrees...

Different hood scoop...if it's supercharged a functional hood scoop wouldn't work so maybe make the hood vent heat better.

The trans cooler is a MUST! I've run 10.6's with a 3400 Yank SS converter. Unless the car spends more time at the track than it does on the road then I would think a 4000-4200 is a bit too much.
