I like having the car look as original as possible and kept the stock A6 shifter with the M6 boot and love it. If manual VB you could actually modify the A6 shifter to work all gears (P-R-N-OD-D-2-1)

Every time I re install my exhaust I do a heat cycle. Tighten them then go for a 15-20 min cruise at least. Then re tighten them the next day. That seems to work every time

Actually that is the ctsv iat2 sensor. Just look at a ctsv iat2 file. You'll have to change the resistance values before you can match them up.
