60 deg track temp and dry weather is my rule of thumb before putting the Trofeos back on. Otherwise it the Michelin PSS's, even for track days.

The Michelin PSS's are always on back order, but I order them anyway. I have never waited over a month to receive mine, although my last order was April this year for the R8.

I will have been driving/tracking my Z28 for 18 to 24 months before I'm likely to encounter a 350R. So I certainly hope the GT 350R is faster. But the difference in performance will be so small...

I threw the Trofeos on a set of track wheels and put Michelin PSS's on the factory rims. Those Trofeos were throwing rocks that even landed on my truck lid!

It has the RTronic transmission. Which works fine at the track. But the "Auto" mode sucks in stop n go traffic. Teaching the wife to drive it in the manual mode.
