You don't have to use that oil. Any oil that is dexos certified is acceptable. That AC Delco dexos oil is only a synblend. Use Mobil 1.

dexos is a cert not an oil. The 11's take an oil that is dexos certified. The AC Delco brand that is dexos certified is a semi-synthetic, but all other dexos certified oils are full synthetic.

Wrong. AC Delco brand dexos 1 oil is semi-synthetic and shouldn't be used in LS3 cars. All other oils on the market that are dexos 1 certified are full synthetic.
