So apparently my piston rings are shot and so is my thermostat. Among some other issues, my mechanic suggested a rebuild.

Until his rebuilder said prices on a crate engine would be cheaper.

Yea, could be clutch, clutch plate, fly wheel, clutch master cylinder. I don't think it's the whole trans.

My concern is it became catastrophic when it could have been dealt with 10k miles ago.

So, my issue with using the foulers is that it doesn't fix the actual cause of the problem. It just makes it so that the sensors can't detect the flow as well.

I'd rather fix the actual problem.

Did anyone else opt for the Stainless Steel Hose for the EE Catch Can?

I did. I very much regret it. My hands are absolutely shredded and it doesn't fit in any of their catch can ports at all. Am I doing something wrong here?

OMG! A leak in the overflow was discovered for mine too. My dad said he smelled antifreeze.

Kicker is, the main reservoir was pretty full and I haven't been able to find a leak yet.
