You may want a cam that big, but you don't need it. The pulley size you use on the front of the blower is going to determine your power level more so than cam size. Something like a 224/238 116+2...

Yup, and they do really well controlling heat...both intake air heat and engine coolant heat. Mine could idle 15 minutes in 95 degree Tx heat with the A/C blowing cold. Not much over 210 ECT. You...

I would either:

A...Port a set of stock heads and live with mid 400's at the wheels with a medium sized cam. Big cams on a street car are just dumb in my book.

B...Add a blower with stock...

That cam would make a good trot line weight. That's the only way I'd use it. It would make plenty of buck, shake, surge, and stumble. Probably impress the car show crowd if that's what you're after....

At 9* of overlap, I wouldn't consider that a "baby" cam. It's more aggressive than a lot of stage 2 LS3 cams. It will have enough buck, surge, and shake to remind you there's a bigger cam in there....

I wouldn't use either. If you made me use one, it would be the LS9 cam. The GT9 cam has stupid high lift and very aggressive ramp rates. There's absolutely no reason to put that kind of stress on...

I wouldn't call the TX Speed cam you have referenced in your first post a blower cam. TX Speed wouldn't call it that either. That's a fairly aggressive N/A cam. Here's their stage 3 PD blower cam.......

I agree on keeping the o/d crank pulley. You might look at the idler closest to your blower pulley. If there's room, you can increase the diameter of that pulley to increase belt wrap on your blower...
