It will feel a bit softer and less crisp on turn in with the narrowest recommended wheel width. Depends a bit what you use the car for and personal preference on feel.

They're made from what is likely 4 blocks of 4"x8"x12" billet aluminum. There's a heck of a lot of machine time to turn it into a spindle. Castings for low production volumes isn't low cost either...
