The wire to the ground is pretty long actually, it makes one loop around the spare wheel enclosure, I think that might be too much resistance...

I use a SD card reader and the PDIM usually fails to detect it when I start up the car. Re-plugging it fixes the issue, but it takes a few minutes to re-index every time.

There are some nice dunes at Pismo Beach (3.5 hours on 101 and 4.5 hours on CA-1) where we can rent ATVs and go dune bashing. Probably something for when it's not cold and raining though.
