A well designed turbo system can provide torque at 2500 rpm without nitrous, you'd be more than fine without compounding the boost. Sometimes it's best to just keep things simple.

Try turning all the lights on, then disconnecting the battery, it'll drain the system. Then turn everything off and hook the battery back up.

Fuel supply should keep up fine at low throttle, most likely needs more fuel demanded though. Tuner likely tuned it solely on the dyno at WOT.
